I got Molly's Scenes and Settings!

The ad was a couple weeks old, with local pick up only, but I called anyway. The lady listed it for $35 but then knocked off another $5 because her son broke the handle at the last minute. She told me the scenes were retired and were selling for high prices on ebay but she "didn't want to gouge anyone." I admire the seller's generosity and integrity.

I'm thrilled with the scenes, especially because I'm building my Molly Collection and plan on getting the Molly & Emily collection when it comes out. I already have some outfits and accessories too.

The scenes are very, very cool. I sure wish American Girl still sold these. They're really awesome. Now I want the rest. Too bad the prices are too high on ebay. I'll just have to keep looking locally.

This is my first AG find outside of ebay and the American Girl website. Quite fun. Now I know what you all feel like when you spy an AG item at a garage sale or thrift store. [img]graemlins/thumbs_up.gif[/img]

Congratulations! Sounds like you got a GREAT deal from the local seller. I LOVE the Scenes and Settings. We now have the Scenes and Settings for Molly, Samantha, and Felicity. They are awesome! I think Molly's are my favorite! I'm sure they will go even higher on eBay once the Molly movie comes out. ENJOY your find!

What a great deal!
Actually I have seen some of the Scenes and Settings go for really decent prices on ebay. The Felicity ones usually go sky high, but a lot of the others have sold for less than they were new.(Which was $55.00) I have the Samantha ones and I love them! They are just so cute! But I really want the Molly ones-you are so lucky!

I just got them too, from mominindianapolis. They are AWESOME! It totally changes the red table to have the cabinets behind it. I had never seen a Scenes & Settings in person, so I am still just blown away!
